Cuba hopes to complete the necessary doses of its most advanced vaccine candidates in August to immunize the entire population against COVID-19.

XXXVIII FIHAV is suspended and, in its place, II FECuba 2021 will be held
Due to the complex international epidemiological situation caused by COVID19, which also affects our country, it has been decided to suspend the XXXVIII International Fair of Havana (FIHAV) 2021. This fair is the most important general commercial exchange in Cuba and the Caribbean, and one of the most representative in Latin America, whose celebration was scheduled for the month of November.

May 9, anniversary of the victory over Nazi-fascism.
May 9 is celebrated as the day of victory against Nazi fascism in the second world War(WWII). It was on that day of the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany in front of the Soviet delegation in Berlin, when Field Marshal Keitel signed the document by which he recognized the victory of the Red Army of Workers and Peasants of the USSR.
