Cuba participated in the regional review of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration
Havana, Cuba, April 26, 2021. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations of Cuba, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, spoke today in the regional review of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, an event organized virtually by the International Organization for Migrations (IOM) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
CARICOM urges the US to review its policy towards Cuba as soon as possible
Havana, April 24, 2021.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration of Belize, and President of the Council on Foreign and Community Relations of CARICOM, Eamon Courtenay, urged the Secretary of State of the United States, to fulfill his commitment to review the current policy towards Cuba and asked him to do so "as soon as possible, with a view to resuming the policy of detente."
Cuba will present a resolution to end the United States blockade against the island at the UN
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, said this Thursday April 22th that on June 23 the United Nations General Assembly will consider the resolution to end the United States blockade against the island.
Rodríguez Parrilla stressed that the blockade is an act of genocide that constitutes a massive violation of human rights.
