Cuba demands US respect its sovereignty

The WFTU successfully held an International Web Symposium of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
Athens, November 30th, 2020. On the occasion of November 29, International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the WFTU organized an International Solidarity Symposium with the participation of Palestinian and international delegates: Palestinian trade unionists, trade union cadres from Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America, the Ambassador of Palestine in Athens, Mr. Marwan Toubassi, the Ambassador of Cuba in Athens, Ms. Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina, ICATU General Secretary, Ghassan Ghosn and OATUU Deputy General Secretary, Valentine Udeh took part in the Symposium, which opened with a greeting speech of the WFTU General Secretary, comrade George Mavrikos. All the Palestinian leading cadres, members and friends of the WFTU actively participated in the Symposium.
