On a night in June 2019, the opening of the photographic exhibition “José Martí, with Greece in the heart” took place on the Greek island of Lefkada.

On the occasion of the entry into force on January 22 of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, an instrument that qualifies its existence as a threat to humanity and contrary to International Humanitarian Law, Cubaminrex shares with its readers the Message of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro against Nuclear War.
Cuba was the fifth country to ratify the instrument, on January 30, 2018, a sign of its commitment to general and complete disarmament.

Third part (III): Lefkada: "With Cuba in the heart".
In two previous ones, the modest series of publications, “Cuba: a sponsor country of world solidarity and humanism, of respect for life and friendship, promoter of peace and cultural encounters between all the peoples of the world”, commented briefly on the well-attended Cuban photographic exhibitions and concerts by Cuban artists residing in Greece that took place in the prison of Thebes and in Athens, between 2018 and 2019. Other exhibitions also took place in Athens in 2020, as will be seen later.
Cuba and the European Union hold Third Joint Council
Havana, January 20, 2021-- The third Joint Council between Cuba and the European Union (EU), met on Wednesday in a virtual format with the presence of Josep Borrell, high representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and vice president of the European Commission, and the foreign minister of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
In the meeting, both parties highlighted the progress of bilateral relations and cooperation in the last year and reiterated their willingness to continue working for its strengthening.
