Athens, September 2. The great musician and friend of Cuba Mikis Theodorakis passed away. Composer of numerous masterpieces such as Canto General (Poetry by Pablo Neruda), Zorba and multiple other masterpieces, whose musical genius is considered to have contributed decisively to the cultural renaissance of post-war Greece, he had the opportunity to meet with Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and the heroic guerrillaman Ernesto Che Guevara, in Cuba, with whom he forged a great friendship.

The resistance and heroism of the Greek combatants in the battle of Thermopylae ("Hot Gates") in the Kalídromo mountain massif, in 480 BC (Second Medical War), and particularly the role played in it by the hero and King Leónidas, of Sparta, powerfully attracted the attention of the Cuban National Hero José Martí, who identified this historical event as a reference point for Cuba's struggles for its national independence.

The member of the Political Bureau of the Party and Minister of Foreign Relations of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, denounced that Creative Associates International is a front for the US Government to design soft coups against the island and other countries.
Through his Twitter account, the Chancellor shared an investigation by MintPress News on the use of that association by Washington to impose its world hegemony: “With a presence today in at least 85 countries, it employs techniques of soft power and designs operations of regime change and political transitions, "said Rodríguez Parrilla.
Cuban publication in the magazine "Greek Diplomatic Life" commemorates the bicentennial of the independence of Greece

The important Greek magazine Greek Diplomatic Life - has just published an article entitled "Cuba, its people and its National Hero commemorate the 200th anniversary of the independence of Greece", on page 36 of its June 2021 issue. In the article -whose text is reproduced in the images below- different actions developed by Cuba are addressed to greet the brother Greek people on the 200th anniversary of their independence, which is celebrated in the year 2021.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has declared that "with great sadness it says goodbye to Comrade Skyllakos", who died "after a heart attack and after a long battle with the health problems that afflicted him."
