Minister of Education, Hon.Dr. Nicolette Henry, received the Ambassador
Georgetown, May 11, 2018. Cuban Ambassador Narciso Reinaldo Amador paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Education of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Hon. Dr. Nicolette Henry. The Cuban diplomat thanked the Minister for the support provided by the Government of Guyana to the agreement signed between CARICOM and Cuba for the creation, in Georgetown, of the Regional Centre for the Stimulation of the Development of Children, Adolescents and Young People with Special Educational Needs Associated with Disabilities, which began its work in Guyana in 2017 and will extend its services to the rest of the CARICOM member countries in the near future.

Georgetown, May 3, 2018. Ambassador Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro was received by Hon. Volda Lawrence, Minister of Public Health and Member of Parliament of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and both officials expressed their satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Guyana and Cuba in the field of public health and confirmed the interest of the governments of both countries to continue working to make better use of the capacities of Cuban medical personnel and to achieve an increasingly high quality service to the Guyanese population.
