Cuban Ambassador visits the Parliament of Kerala.
The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, visited the Legislative Assembly of the state of Kerala, where he was received by its Speaker M.B. Rajesh. During the exchange, both highlighted the parliamentary relations and the boost they offer to Cuba's bilateral relations with India and Kerala. The President of the legislature of this state, along with other parliamentarians, ratified the feeling of friendship and solidarity towards Cuba and its Revolution.

The 69th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks was celebrated in Thiruvanantapuram, capital of the Indian state of Kerala. The central activity was organized by the National Committee for Solidarity with Cuba and was attended by more than one hundred people, including members of the organization and students.

The honorable Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, received the Cuban ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas, in view of the historical ties of friendship that have existed between our country and that Indian state. The meeting took place at the Kerala government headquarters in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, capital of this Indian state.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) conveyed its deep condolences on the occasion of the passing away of Commander Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera. In a letter sent on behalf of the Central Committee of this political force and addressed to the Communist Party of Cuba, they emphasize Balaguer's work "as a true internationalist who promoted friendly contacts with communist and workers' parties all over the world.
