Cuba attends "The 4th Host Country Committee Meeting on Immigration and Consular Affairs"

Jakarta, August 8, 2017. The Cuban Embassy attended the "The 4th Host Country Committee Meeting on Immigration and Consular Affairs", organized by the authorities of the General Directorate of Immigration from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the General Directorate of Protocol and Consular Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of Indonesia.

This Sunday, July 30, 2017, during elections for the National Constituent Assembly in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Venezuelan people demonstrated to the world that they are in full possession of their sovereign rights, and are firmly on the side of peace, in defense of citizen security, of independence and self-determination in their homeland, as they have been throughout the history of Latin America and the Caribbean, since Bolívar.

Jakarta, July 31st, 2017. The Cuban Embassy celebrated the National Rebellion Day in commemoration of the 64th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.

Members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Indonesia-Cuba, members of the Friendship Association, officials from the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Diplomatic Corps and a representation from the Cubans residing in Indonesia participated in the event.

Jakarta, June 15, 2017. The Ambassador of Cuba Nirsia Castro Guevara paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Mr. Oesman Sapta, President of the Council of Regional Representatives, Second Chamber of the Legislative Assembly of the country. During the meeting the diplomat offered the Honorable Sapta information on the state of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially on the parliamentary links, mentioning that between 2016 and so far this year, three parliamentary delegations have visited Cuba.
