National Rebellion Day of Cuba, celebrated in Indonesia
Jakarta, July 31st, 2017. The Cuban Embassy celebrated the National Rebellion Day in commemoration of the 64th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.
Members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Indonesia-Cuba, members of the Friendship Association, officials from the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Diplomatic Corps and a representation from the Cubans residing in Indonesia participated in the event.
Cuban Ambassador analyses cooperation projects in agriculture and mineral resources with Indonesia
Indonesia, June 21, 2017. Cuban Ambassador Nirsia Castro Guevara welcomed Ani Andayani, adviser to the Minister of Agriculture Infrastructure and Sri Raharjo from the General Directorate of Minerals and Coal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to analyze the results of the visit of the Indonesian officials to Cuba in May and the projects identified.
Cuban Ambassador makes a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the Council of Regional Representatives of the Legislative Assembly
Jakarta, June 15, 2017. The Ambassador of Cuba Nirsia Castro Guevara paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Mr. Oesman Sapta, President of the Council of Regional Representatives, Second Chamber of the Legislative Assembly of the country. During the meeting the diplomat offered the Honorable Sapta information on the state of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially on the parliamentary links, mentioning that between 2016 and so far this year, three parliamentary delegations have visited Cuba.
Cuban Ambassador exchanges with parliamentarians who recently visited Cuba
Indonesia, June 14, 2017. Cuban Ambassador Nirsia Castro Guevara met with members of the Indonesia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group at the House of Representatives to review the results of the visit to Cuba last May of a delegation of the Mentioned Group. During the meeting the parliamentarians commented to the Cuban diplomat on the different exchanges that they held in Cuba, as well as other activities that they carried out in the Island.
Indonesia and Cuba sign Memorandum of Understanding on Health Cooperation
Geneva, May 24, 2017. The Minister of Health of Indonesia Prof. Dr. Nila F Moeloek and the Vicepresident of the Council of State of Cuba and Minister of Public Health Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Health Cooperation. The document becomes the legal basis for the realization of concrete projects that develop links in this area.
