Tribute to Martí in Jakarta
Indonesia. 26th of January. On the occasion of commemorating this Sunday 28, the 165th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban national hero José Martí, the Cuban embassy in Jakarta celebrated an evening of homage. Among the present were the president of the Committee for Indonesian-Cuban Parliamentary Cooperation, Daryatmo Mardiyanto, the deputy director of the Directorate of America of Foreign Ministry Bernadeta J. Pratiwi, the vice president of the Indonesian-Cuba Darli Friendship Association, and students representing of seven of Jakarta´s universities.
Ambassador of Cuba and new Director of América I of the Indonesian Chancellery review state of bilateral relations
Jakarta, January 25, 2018. Cuban Ambassador Nirsia Castro Guevara was received on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, by the new Director of America I, Zelda W. Kartika who took office on January 12.
The 27th International Book Fair of Havana,2018
The 27th edition of the International Book Fair of Havana , Cuba, will take place from February 1 to 11, under the motto Leer es crecer (Reading is growing). The People's Republic of China will be the Guest of Honor Country. It will be dedicated to Dr. Eusebio Leal Spengler, Historian of the city of Havana. This event is the most important in the Cuban publishing sector and the most agglutinating cultural space in the country. Beyond being a place to buy books and exchange with authors, the Fair has become a stage to show, in its various facets, the dynamism of our cultural life.
Cuba reaffirms commitment to integration in CELAC-China Forum
This September 23th at the II Ministerial Meeting of the Community Forum of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) -China held in Santiago de Chile, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parilla, in his speech, stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen ties of cooperation and friendship within the framework of the CELAC-China Forum, based on the opportunities it offers to take on the challenges of a complex global scenario.
Presentation on the National Education System of Cuba made at the University of Indonesia
