Fraternal meeting between ambassadors of Cuba and Iraq in Tehran
Cuba and Iran for greater cooperation in sports.
Tehran, August 25, 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega was received this morning by the Vice Minister for the Development of Professionals and Sports Championships of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani, who highlighted the historical ties of brotherhood and cooperation that both countries maintain, as well as the willingness of his ministry to expand cooperation to multiple areas and sports disciplines.
Successfully held the first Cuba - Iran Business Forum.
Chaired by the Cuban Ambassador to Iran, Alexis Bandrich and the vice president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Hossein Selahvarzi, the Forum raised high expectations and became a space to be replicated in the multiple chambers of commerce of the Iranian provinces.
Cuba and Iran, 40 years of diplomatic relations.
Tehran, August 8 2019. On August 8, 1979, the Republic of Cuba and the Islamic Republic of Iran reestablished diplomatic relations. In this way Cuba became one of the first countries to recognize the new Republic that was born after the triumph of a historic Revolution. This fact marked the beginning of a friendship between both nations that lasts until our days.
