Cuban Ambassador congratulates high Iranian authorities on their National Day
Cuban Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada participated in the official ceremony celebrated on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the triumph of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, which took place at the Velenjak Conference Hall in Tehran, headed by President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
In the ceremony, attended by 180 Heads of Mission and diplomats accredited to the Persian nation, Minister Zarif took the floor, followed by the dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Salah Al-Zawawi.
New director at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the Cuban Ambassador
Cuban Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada was received by the new Director of the Second Department for the Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Mr. Ahmad Pabarja.
In this first meeting, both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the Island and the Persian nation in several spheres, especially in view to the celebration of the next XVI session of the Intergovernmental Commission, which will take place on 13-15 February in Havana.
Cuban president expressed his condolences for the tragedy in Plasco building of Tehran
The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, sent a message of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani, after learning of the tragedy caused by the fire and subsequent collapse of the emblematic building of the Plasco Trade Center in Tehran.
The Cuban president lamented the death of Iranian citizens, as well as the human and material damage caused by this terrible accident. He also requested to convey his condolences to the relatives of the victims.
