Consular Services

Important Notice

Please be advised that the Consular Office has implemented the issuance of registry documents issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Cuba (MINJUS) through the digitization of the files.

Cuban consulates will legalize the digital signature of the Civil Status Registrar authorized to issue them by the MINJUS, the entity in Cuba responsible for legalizing documents for validity abroad and within the national territory. This gives the documents full legal force for validity abroad.

Regarding online document requests, please note that all documents available on the platform can be processed, except for Certificates of Cause of Death, Citizenship Certificates, Certificates of Error Correction, and Certificates of Information. For all documents, the principle of having a complete volume and folio is followed to process the request.
