The Communist Party of Ireland condemns the September 24th terrorist attack on the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC
PRESS STATEMENT ON TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE CUBAN EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON
The Communist Party of Ireland condemns the September 24th terrorist attack on the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC and we call on the US authorities to provide greater protection to the embassy.
This attack must be seen in the light of the ongoing cold war waged by successive US administrations against socialist Cuba, including the illegal blockade, which has been repeatedly condemned by the UN General Assembly.
It is demanded the end of the blockade against Cuba in New York.
In the heart of Manhattan, New York, I support Cuba wholeheartedly. American friends came out to demand the end of the US blockade and the inclusion of our country on the list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.
