The VII Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), was inaugurated today in Buenos Aries with a greeting to the reincorporation of Brazil to the mechanism of integration and political agreement.

The host President Alberto Fernández greeted the presence of the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in the convention hall, and then summarized the actions carried out by his country in its capacity as President Pro Tempore of Celac during 2022.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla held official talks today with Alfred Nganga Mutua, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kenya, who is on an official visit to the island. The Foreign Ministry informed on its website that during the meeting both parties exchanged on issues of common interest and ratified the mutual willingness to strengthen political, economic, trade, and cooperation ties.
