Group of Cuban nurses come to Kuwait to start cooperation in this field of health
Kuwait, October 22, 2016. A group of 10 bachelors in nursing arrived to the capital of Kuwait to begin Cuban cooperation in the area of nursing health sector.
The group was received by Cuban ambassador Andres Gonzalez Garrido at Kuwait International Airport.
Nurses will offer their services in the Dasman Diabetes Institute as a result of an agreement signed between this institution and Medical Services Enterprise of Cuba, CSMC.
In Kuwait was celebrated the Day of the Cuban Culture
Kuwait, October 21, 2016. On the occasion of the October 20, Day of Cuban Culture, the Embassy of Cuba in Kuwait recalled this important date.
Cuba's ambassador in Kuwait, Andres Gonzalez Garrido stressed the significance for all Cubans this day, in which the date of October 20, 1868 is remembered, when Cuban independence achieved their first victory against to Spanish colonialism to take the city of Bayamo and the people sang for the first time Cuban National Anthem at theSquare.

Along this road they have given ample proof of their capacity for resistance in the face of enormous challenges. One such challenge is the economic, commercial and financial blockade which has been imposed by the United States of America and has remained in place for over fifty years.
