The people of Cuba continue theircenturies’ long struggle in the reconquest of full justice. Along this road they have given ample proof of their capacity for resistance in the face of enormous challenges. One such challenge is the economic, commercial and financial blockade which has been imposed by the United States of America and has remained in place for over fifty years.
Cuban ambassador to Kuwait met with the Director of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry.
Kuwait, Oct. 11, 2016. Cuba's ambassador in Kuwait Andres Gonzalez Garrido met with Naser Alhayen , Director of International Organizations of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry.
During the fraternal meeting they referred to the satisfactory state of relations between the two countries and issues of mutual interest both in bilateral as in multilateral levels.

With the presence of Cuban chefs Ciro Eddy Fernandez Monte, President of the Federation of Culinary Associations of Cuba and Odlavin M Castellanos, Vice President of this organization, took place on 4 and 5 October in the Six Palms Restaurant at Marina Hotel for the first time in Kuwait a festival of Cuban cuisine .
