Kuwait, October 6, 2016. With the presence of Cuban chefs Ciro Eddy Fernandez Monte, President of the Federation of Culinary Associations of Cuba and Odlavin M Castellanos, Vice President of this organization, took place on 4 and 5 October in the Six Palms Restaurant at Marina Hotel for the first time in Kuwait a festival of Cuban cuisine .

Kuwait, September 19, 2016. Andres Gonzalez Garrido, ambassador of Cuba in Kuwait signed the book of condolences on the death of comrade Rene Nunez Tellez, president of the National Assembly of Nicaragua at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of the country in Kuwait. In the Nicaraguan embassy he was received by the ambassador of Nicaragua in Kuwait, Mazier Oscar Aranda.
Rene Nunez Tellez, was a historic leader and member of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN).

Kuwait, September 4, 2016. Cuba's ambassador in Kuwait Andres Gonzalez Garrido signed the book of condolences for the death of Islam Karimov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the past 25 years, at the diplomatic mission of these country in the State of Kuwait.
