The Embassy of Cuba invited to participate at the round table on Census 2025 in Laos

The Embassy of Cuba participated in the Roundtable on the 2025 census in Lao PDR

Vientiane, February 2024. The Embassy of Cuba participated in the Round Table and consultation meetings based on the preparatory work developed for the implementation, strengthening of partnerships and clarification of financing priorities for the Population and Housing Census (PHC) scheduled to be held in Lao PDR in 2025.

The Embassy of Cuba participated at the inauguration of the 27th ASEAN Tourism Ministers' Meeting in Laos

Vientiane  febrero  2024. The 27th ASEAN Tourism Minister's Meeting was officially opened  by the co-chairing of the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Ms. Suan Savan Viayaket and Mr. Dato Siri Tiong King Singh, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia, with the ASEAN Ministers of Tourism. The Minister of Tourism from Timor Leste as an observer country, with the Secretary General of ASEAN along with the heads of ASEAN delegations participated and the Embassies s accredited in this capital, among them Cuba  .

Ambassador of Cuba visits the heroic village of Xeingda in the district of Sisattanak.

Vientiane January 2024. The Cuban Ambassador held an unforgettable meeting with the leaders and inhabitants of the heroic town of Xeingda, whose children also had a significant participation in the struggles for the independence of Laos. The head of mission and accompanying leaders paid tribute at the monument erected to the 28 heroes of that district who offered their lives in the epic revolutionary feat.

Lao party leaders coordinate actions with the Cuban Embassy.

Vientiane January 2024. The general directors of the Europe and Americas Department Sengphakhun Vanthanouvung, as well as Vongkham Sengsathip of People's Diplomacy, of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, held working meetings with the head of mission of the Cuban Embassy in this capital.
