On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the physical departure of the greatest leader of the Cuban Revolution, the Cuban Embassy in Lebanon paid an emotional tribute to the life and work of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
In his speech, Ambassador Jorge Leon Cruz highlighted Fidel's legacy that remains present and his thought remains fully valid, particularly at this time in today's world, which was also evidenced by the workers of the embassy.

Ambassador Jorge Leon Cruz received a delegation of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, headed by its Representative in Beirut and Vice President of the Palestinian National Council, Ali Faysal, and composed of members of the Political Bureau Khalidat Hussein and Suhail Al Natour.
During the meeting, current regional issues and the aggressions, massacres and genocide committed by the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people were discussed.
