The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba expresses its strongest condemnation of the new attack by the United States and some of its allies against military and civilian facilities in the Syrian Arab Republic on the evening of this April 13th, under the pretext of the alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians by the Syrian Government.

People’s Summit kicks off in Lima

Lima.– With the inauguration of the People’s Summit, an alternative to the Summit of the Americas, today, April 10, Lima became the capital of Latin American and Caribbean social movements, progressive parties and youth organizations committed to unity, anti-imperialism and the principles of justice and equality throughout the region.

Cuban medical specialists initiate work in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. April 9, 2018. Three Cuban medical specialists began work this week at the INTERMED Hospital in the city of Ulan Bator, as part of the agreement signed between that entity and Cuban Medical Services. Motivated by the advances in medicine and the health indices reached in the largest island of the Antilles, the INTERMD Hospital executives traveled to Cuba last year to sign the contract that will allow medical specialists from our country to work and contribute their knowledge to development health services in Mongolia.

The Federal Republic of Brazil's Federal Supreme Court rejected the habeas corpus appeal presented by the defense team of the country's former President and leader of the Workers Party, Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva.

As has just been confirmed, this decision opens the door to Lula's possible immediate detention, an act that would be extremely serious.
