Cuba and Mongolia for closer cooperation ties in the biotechnology sector.

Organized by Mr. Ya.Tumurbaatar, Rector of the National University of Mongolia and the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Mongolia, a panel of analysis and discussion “The ways to develop more effectively cooperation between Mongolia and Cuba in the Biotechnology sector” was developed in the afternoon of yesterday.
Cuba: Committed to human rights
Cuba features among the 50 countries that have ratified the most international human rights instruments, according to lawyer Desiree Llaguno, speaking to Prensa Latina.
She explained that the island has signed 44 of the 61 human rights conventions, making it one of the leaders in this field.
If we look at Cuba within the context of developing countries, we could say that the island features among those that have signed the most human rights accords, noted the expert.
Statement by the Revolutionary Government: Cuba condemns fresh attacks by Israel against the Palestinian people
The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba vehemently condemns the criminal attack on the defenseless Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, by the Israeli Army which has killed at least 52 people and left over 2,400 injured.
This act constitutes another serious and flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international humanitarian law, and a new outrage against the Palestinian people.
Mongolia commemorates the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Karl Marx.

Invited by the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and the German Fiedrich Ebert Foundation, the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción participated in the Conference for the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Karl Marx, held at the National University of Mongolia. The event brought together professors and Mongolian political scientists who gave lectures on the historical importance that the birth of the famous German philosopher, historian, sociologist, economist, writer and socialist thinker meant for humanity.
