Cuba in Mongolia

Mongolian Women's Association expressed interest in strengthening ties with the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and the National Center for Sexual Education (CENESEX) of Cuba

The President of the Mongolian Women's Association, Ms. Oyungerel Batnasan, expressed her organization's interest in strengthening ties with the FMC and the National Center for Sexual Education (CENESEX) of Cuba in matters of Comprehensive Sexuality Education Policy, the advancement of women, the National Program for the Advancement of Women of Cuba and other strategies and policies.

Dr. Mariela Castro Espín, Member of the National Assembly and Director of the National Center for Sexual Education of Cuba, concluded successfully an intense multilateral and bilateral agenda in Mongolia

Dr. Mariela Castro Espín atended and delivered a presentation to the World Women’s Forum held in Ulaanbaatar, on August 22 and 23, under the auspices of President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. The Forum, under the theme “Towards a Greener Future” was co-hosted also by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the UN in Mongolia.

The Deputy to the National Assembly and Director of the National Center for Sexual Education of Cuba, Dr. Mariela Castro Espín, adressed the session: "The importance of education in the empowerment of women and girls, and its impact," of the World Forum of Women.

The Forum, held in Ulan Bartor, Mongolia, on August 22 and 23, was organized by the Office of the President of Mongolia, the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations in this country.

Russian Federation Navy Vessels Group to arrive in Havana

A naval detachment from the Russian Federation consisting of four vessels –the frigate “GORSHKOV”; the nuclear-powered submarine “KAZAN”; the “PASHIN” fleet sea tanker and the salvage tug “NIKOLAI CHIKER”- will pay an official visit to the port of Havana from June 12 to 17, 2024.

This visit is consistent with the historically friendly relations existing between Cuba and the Russian Federation and strictly abides by the international regulations Cuba is a State Party to.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia made a presentation on complementarity and trade and investment opportunities between both countries

The ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia. Jorge Ferrer made a presentation at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry about trade and investment opportunities between both countries. About 35 businessmen and media attended.

The Deputy Chief Executive of the Chamber, Mr. Magnaibaatar, delivered the opening remarks. The Mongolian National Radio and the Tenger and Malchin television networks covered the event and conducted interviews with the Ambassador.
