Namibia, September 8th, 2021- Deborah Rivas, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, and Hon. Jenelly Matundu, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, inaugurated the V Session of the Cuba-Namibia Joint Working Group, which will meet virtually on September 8th and 9th, 2021.

Namibia, September 7th, 2021- Sidenio Acosta, Ambassador of Cuba to Namibia, and Ambassador Sabine Böhlke-Möller, General Director of Bilateral Affairs of the local Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, held an organizational meeting prior to the V Session of the Joint Working Group Cuba - Namibia, which will be held virtually on September 8th and 9th. Both were accompanied by officials from the Cuban Embassy and the Namibian Foreign Ministry.

Namibia, August 31st, 2021- H. E. Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, within the framework of the courtesy call payed to the African president by Sidenio Acosta, Ambassador of Cuba in Namibia.

Namibia, August 27th, 2021- Aldo Luis Fuentes Acosta, second secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Namibia, participated in the program “The Political Spectrum”, of the national radio station Eagle FM, hosted by the journalist from Zimbabwe, based in Namibia, Kevin Chiringa.
