Namibia.- On September 1, Dr. Asif Iqbal paid a courtesy visit to the Cuban ambassador, accompanied by Rodolfo Ricardo Guzmán, counselor in charge of political and economic-commercial affairs.
Dr. Asif Iqbal attended two trade fairs held in the country and business meetings with his Namibian counterparts.

Namibia. - Organized by the Namibian Chamber of Mines, the main mining exhibition of this year was held from August 31 to September 1 in the city of Windhoek, the country's capital, with the attendance of hundreds of daily visitors, including those from the Cuban ambassador Sidenio Acosta Aday and the counselor in charge of the political and economic-commercial offices, Rodolfo Ricardo Guzmán.

Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, vice president of SWAPO, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, called for the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, during the annual meeting with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in this African country.
