Embassy of Cuba celebrates the 65th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada Barracks
Namibia, July 28th, 2018- With the presence of around two hundred people, including representatives of the Namibian government, SWAPO Party leaders, members of the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, Cuban collaborators and residents, as well as other friends of Cuba, was celebrated at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission the commemorative festivities for the 65th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.

Namibia, July 18th, 2018- Cuba's Ambassador to Namibia, Giraldo Mazola, gave the rector of the School of the SWAPO, Marco Hausiko, a donation of books from the Pathfinder Publishing House.
Deputy Prime Minister and Chancellor of Namibia received the Ambassador of Cuba.

Baseball game in Namibia to remember Andimba Toivo ya Toivo.
The Embassy of Cuba, the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, the Cuban residents and collaborators organized a baseball game to honor the memory of the lost Namibian independence leader and Cuba's great friend Andimba Toivo and Toivo, who passed away on June 9th, 2017 .

The Executive Secretary of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), H.E. Paulina Mbala Elago, received the Cuban ambassador Giraldo Mazola, at the headquarters of that sub regional organization.
