Cuban Ambassador visits Utrecht

Utrecht, June 7, 2024. As part of the actions to promote exchanges with the regions of the Netherlands, Cuban ambassador Anet Pino Rivero carried out a working visit to the province of Utrecht.

The visit took place as part of the invitation extended to the diplomatic corps by the King's Commissioner for the Province of Utrecht, Hans Oosters, and the Mayor of Utrecht, Sharon Dijksma. Sixty ambassadors from around the world attended the working visit.

Visit to the Radboud University, in Nijmegen

Nijmegen, June 3, 2024. Cuban ambassador Anet Pino Rivero was received by Mr. Daniel Wigboldus, president of the Board of Governors of Radboud University, located in the city of Nijmegen.

Meeting with the Mayor of Nijmegen

Nijmegen, June 3, 2024. At the headquarters of the Mayor's Office of Nijmegen, a municipality belonging to the Gerdeland province, in the east of the Netherlands, the Cuban ambassador Anet Pino Rivero was received by the Mayor of the city, Mr. Hubert Bruls.

Students from the Leiden Medical Center visit the Cuban Embassy

The Hague, May 31, 2024. A new group of students from the Leiden University Medical Center has started the elective course on the Cuban Health System.

The visit to the Cuban Embassy, ​​where they received a brief conference on this topic, was one of the first activities of the course.  It will also include a visit to Cuba, where they will be able to exchange with doctors, nurses and patients in family doctor houses and polyclinics, taking the experiences of the prevention approach of the Cuban model.
