Addis Ababa, March 5, 2022. The Cuban Ambassador to Ethiopia, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, visited the Gerji Unity University of Sciences and held a pleasant meeting with its Board of Directors. During the visit, they exchanged cooperation issues of mutual interest to the Ethiopian university and Cuban health institutions.
The ambassador delivered the authorities of the University an invitation to attend the International Convention "Health for All 2022" to be held in Cuba next October, which was favorably received.
This university, founded in Addis Ababa in 1991, has more than 1500 students and has a Faculty of Medical Sciences where students are trained in different specialties of the health sector and which is in the process of expansion. (Embacuba Etiopía)
