Cuba condemns Israel's military actions against the Gaza Strip
The head of the Cuban mission in Lebanon, Jorge Leon, condemned today the recent military actions of Israel against the people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip.
During an exchange with the Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabbour, the Antillean diplomat ratified his solidarity with the brotherly people in the face of Israel's crimes and attacks in the occupied territories.
During the meeting, Leon reiterated his condolences for the death of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, killed last May 11 while covering an Israeli raid in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank.
Welcoming her, Ambassador Dabbour thanked Cuba for its expressions of support, while stressing the brotherhood of both peoples.
On the occasion, the two sides called for strengthening the existing solidarity and cooperation between Cuba and Palestine.
