Cuban documentary "Sovereignty" premieres at "Nalis" in Trinidad and Tobago.

Port of Spain, December 15, 2022. The Cuban film exhibition "Soberanía", directed by Alejandro Gil, was screened this afternoon at the National Library of Trinidad Tobago (NALIS) as part of the Ibero-American Film Festival that takes place in this capital from the 6th to the 20th of this month; initiative organized by a group of Ibero-American countries accredited in the country.

Present at the premiere were representatives of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Cubans residing in the country, Trinidadian friends and the staff of the Cuban Embassy. All of the participants had the opportunity to learn, through testimonies and stories, the life of a group of specialists from various BIOCUBAFARMA institutions, who participated in the development of Cuban vaccines that stopped the spread of the COVID 19 epidemic.

May this exciting and heartfelt space serve to thank and honor all those protagonists who were part of the documentary and others who are not, but who battled tirelessly to contain the pandemic, protect and save the human lives of our people and other countries in need of it. world.

The documentary also showed the performance of the Litz Alfonso dance company, as an artistic complement to the experiences narrated by its protagonists. The public was grateful to all those who made it possible for such a sensitive, supportive and humanistic side of our scientists to be shown.
