Launching in Lebanon of the new special edition of Juan Lopez Adon Tobacco.

The Gala for the launching of the new special edition of the Juan Lopez tobacco was presided over by Phoencia Trading CEO Ziad Zeidan and the head of the Cuban mission, Jorge Leon Cruz, who highlighted the long-standing partnership between the Lebanese company and Habanos SA.

The new Juán López Adon cigar is now available in the Lebanese market, thanks to the interest in Cuban Habanos by Phoencia Trading, exclusive distributor for the Middle East, Africa and part of Europe.

Backed by decades of experience in the commercialization of Cuban cigars, the Lebanese company presented the Adon, inspired by the mythical Adonis, Phoenician god of fertility.

The new cigar is a Montesco (Cuban factory name) 130 millimeters long and 55 millimeters wide, the same dimensions of the well-known Romeo y Julieta cigars, which are very popular among experienced smokers.

Its vitola de galera is entirely handmade with long filler, made of leaves and capote from the area of vuelta abajo, in the region of Pinar del Río, Cuba.

The city of Byblos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, hosted the regional launch of Juan López Adon, where more than a hundred Cuban cigar lovers tasted the product first-hand.

Traditional Cuban son and salsa, along with Lebanese dance and music, performed by the Chehade Brothers, enlivened the special edition ceremony.

The Juan López brand was created by a Spaniard of the same name in the 1870s and is recognized mainly in small circles of smokers.
