At the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto, the Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca, was received by a representation of the Cuban community residing in that city, among them members of the Association of Cubans Juan Gualberto Gómez.
The scenario was propitious to exchange on the current situation in our country and on the interests and concerns of the Cuban community, especially highlighted the willingness of our government to continue advancing in the consolidation of ties with our compatriots abroad.
Those present expressed their solidarity and unconditional support to the leadership of the Revolution in such difficult and complex times. They also reiterated their rejection and condemnation of the genocidal US blockade and the media campaign against our country.
