July 26th celebrated in the city of Montreal

The Consulate General of Cuba in Montreal celebrated the 71st anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks. Solidarity friends and Cubans living in Montreal joined together to commemorate the historic date.

The occasion contributed to condemn the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. on Cuba, a claim that was also synchronized with the worldwide development of the Bridges of Love caravans.

During the activity, the struggle and resistance of the Palestinian people was also highlighted. The love for Cuba professed by friends in solidarity and Cubans living in Montreal was confirmed
