Addis Ababa, November 25, 2024. In a small but heartfelt act, the members of the Cuban State Mission in Ethiopia paid tribute to the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz on the 8th anniversary of his physical disappearance.
The Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Natalys Dinza, highlighted the imprint of the thought and the validity of the ideas of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, while stressing that the example of Fidel constitutes the fundamental pillar on which the Revolution has been forged.
Dinza stressed that, despite more than 60 years of blockade, Cuba continues to proudly show its advances in the construction of socialism and remains resistant to attempts to overthrow the Cuban Revolution. Likewise, Cuba continues to support brotherly peoples from all parts of the world, on the basis of Fidelista that a better world is possible.
During the ceremony, a wreath was laid at the base of the photo of the Commander in Chief.
