Lebanon present at the 4th Patria Colloquium
A delegation of the pan-Arab channel Al Mayedeen, headed by the director of Latin America, Wafica Mehdi, is participating in the IV Coloquio Patria, which is being held from 17 to 19 March at the University of Havana and the PABEXPO fairgrounds, where the Lebanese network is taking part with an exhibition stand in the Hall of Communication Experiences.
More than 400 guests from 47 countries and more than one hundred Cuban communicators and experts will be present at this international meeting to analyse and share the challenges of digital communication, artificial intelligence, and the benefits and risks of the interconnected world, as well as to exchange through panels, workshops and exhibitions, where the transformations in the dynamics of power in today's interconnected world will be analysed.
The colloquium, which coincides with the 133rd anniversary of the newspaper founded by José Martí, from which it takes its name, will address the challenges of digital communication and artificial intelligence from the perspective of the Global South.
The IV International Colloquium ‘Patria’ is sponsored by the Union of Journalists of Cuba, with the collaboration of Casa de las Américas, the Hermanos Saíz Association and ICAIC.
