Port of Spain, April 3th, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador, Gustavo Veliz Olivares, was received at the Cipriani College by its Director, Dr. Andre Vincent Henry, along with other officials, professors, and researchers from the institution.
During the cordial exchange, the participants expressed interest in maintaining and expanding their ties with Cuba. They also shared plans to organize future visits to Cuba and deepen their relations with the Caribbean Chair of the University of Havana, the Cuban Workers’ Federation, and other Cuban institutions. They expressed satisfaction with the visit and a willingness to welcome other Cuban visitors and delegations to the campus.
The Cipriani College of Labour and Cooperative Studies (CCLCS) is a teaching and research institution. It is named after the trade union leader Arthur Andrew Cipriani and was founded in 1966.
