Addis Ababa, June 15, 2025.- The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Ethiopia celebrated Father’s Day together with Cuban nationals and friends of the Diplomatic Mission, in a simple yet emotional gathering held at its headquarters.
Ambassador Meylin Suárez highlighted the silent and courageous work of so many Cuban fathers, especially those who, from distant lands, fulfill their duties while lovingly maintaining their bond with their families.
In her remarks, she evoked the image of the father as a guide, a source of protection and strength, who educates, protects, and supports. She expressed her gratitude to all the fathers present, and to those who are far away, for their dedication, their example, and their loving firmness, even when the physical embrace must wait.
From this Mission, a message of affection and recognition was extended to all fathers in Ethiopia and around the world, wishing them a day full of love, shared memories, and hope.
