The Department of Public Diplomacy of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives the President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP)

Addis Ababa, September 12, 2025.- As part of his official visit to Ethiopia, Fernando González Llort, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and Hero of the Republic of Cuba, held a cordial meeting with Ms. Firehiwot Asrat, Deputy Director of Public Diplomacy at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The exchange highlighted the historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and reaffirmed their willingness to expand collaboration in public and cultural diplomacy.

Cuba and Ethiopia thus reaffirmed their commitment to continue strengthening their sisterly relations.
