Vienna, September 5, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, held a strategic meeting with comrade Günther Hopfgartner, Federal Spokesperson for the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ), in an effort to strengthen party cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting, held at the Cuban Embassy, represented a crucial step in the political exchange between the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the KPÖ. The Cuban diplomat had the opportunity to update the party leader on the latest measures implemented by the United States to intensify the economic blockade against Cuba, the reality of the country, and the importance of intensifying the international struggle against the blockade.
This meeting is of particular relevance to Cuban diplomatic efforts in Austria, as it consolidates a strategic alliance with a political force that is close to the Austrian and European political landscape. The dialogue allowed for the establishment of concrete foundations for future collaboration in the areas of political training, exchange of experiences, and international solidarity.
