Liberian Personalities Reminisce About Encounters with Fidel Castro
A commemorative gathering of several Liberian personalities who had visited Cuba in the past and met Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro took place at the Cuban Embassy during this festive Christmas season.
The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, shared time with some Liberian friends who reminisced about their experiences on the island and the emotion they felt during their meetings and interviews with the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
This being the first meeting within the framework of the "100 Years with Fidel" campaign, the participants agreed, among other things, to reunite those who had visited the island in the past, as well as to hold a public event to share their past experiences with young people.
