Cuban Embassy in India pays tribute to José Martí on the occasion of the 173rd anniversary of his birth.

New Delhi, January 27th, 2026- On the occasion of the 173rd anniversary of the birth of José Martí, the collective of the Cuban Embassy in India visited the public school "José Martí", located in New Delhi, India.
In the emotional activity we heard the words of teachers, who highlighted the universal scope of our National Hero’s thought and its current validity.  A floral offering was dedicated to the Master and students of the school represented artistic manifestations inspired by the Martian legacy.
At the end, the Indo-Cuban initiative Patria Libros was announced, a digital library that provides students with a collection of Martian texts by the Commander-in-Chief and other Cuban authors.
