Kerala, February 17th 2026- Cuba was present at the inauguration of the International Conference on Development and Democracy. Along with H. E. Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, honourables Ministers and high representatives, Cuban delegation represented by Ms. Aymee Díaz Negrín, Coordinator of Global South team of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, was present at the opening ceremony of the International Conference of Development and Democracy Kerala Vision 2031.
During his address, Ms. Aymee highlighted the achievements reached by the Cuban revolution despite of the illegal and criminal US blockade towards Cuba.
The Cuban representative denounced the new measures of the US administration to punish all oil supply to Cuba, as well as generate desperation to Cuban people.
