New Delhi, June 10, 2026- Dr. Mitchell Valdés, Director of the Cuban NeuroScience Center, represented Cuba at the 3rd BRICS NeuroScience Symposium, held in Tamil Nadu, India. In a program of meetings held in New Delhi, the Cuban scientist exchanged with representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology of India, the Department of Biotechnology and other institutions. During the meetings, topics of common interest in the areas of Biotechnology and Neurosciences were addressed, and new cooperation actions were evaluated within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding in force between both parties.
He also offered statements to the ANI News Agency in which he expanded on the devastating impact of the U.S. government's intensified blockade against our country, particularly in the public health sector.
