Cuba participates in the 3rd India-Latin America and Caribbean Business Forum 2026
On June 5th and 6th, the Ambassador Juan Carlos Marsan Aguilera participated in the 3rd India-Latin America and Caribbean Business Forum 2026, organized by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) and the government of Madhya Pradesh. Fifteen embassies and more than 250 local companies and businesses participated.
The opening ceremony featured Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, who emphasized the importance of promoting trade and cooperation with countries in our region.
As part of the program, the Ambassador Marsan presented the opportunities Cuba offers to boost bilateral economic relations with India in strategic sectors such as biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, food production, renewable energy, mining, and information and communication technologies, among others.
Similarly, the Ambassador participated in a workshop that addressed "Partnership Opportunities in Agriculture, Energy, Technology, and Sustainability," where we promoted the possibility of developing joint ventures in several of the aforementioned sectors of interest.
The event facilitated exchange with more than 25 participating companies, who expressed interest in exploring relationships and exchanges with Cuba.
