Cuba participates in the official launch of the Caribbean Canadian Investment Summit and Trade Forum

Toronto, June 26, 2026 – The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto, together with the Cuban Tourist Office in the city, participated in the media launch of the Caribbean Canadian Investment Summit and Trade Forum. The event brought together government officials, diplomats, business leaders and media representatives to officially unveil this important platform aimed at strengthening trade, investment and economic cooperation between Canada and the countries of the Caribbean.

During the event, the organizers presented the Summit's main objectives, which include promoting new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships and strengthening economic ties between the Caribbean region and the Canadian business community.

The Cuban delegation highlighted the importance of initiatives such as this one in raising awareness of the investment and trade opportunities available in Cuba, while also strengthening economic and commercial relations with Canada and the rest of the Caribbean. It also reaffirmed Cuba's willingness to continue promoting dialogue and cooperation that contribute to the region's sustainable development.
