Cuba and UNECA explore new opportunities for collaboration in culture and academic exchange

Addis Ababa, May 12, 2026.- The Cuban Ambassador to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez Álvarez, visited the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), where she was received by Irene Onyancha, Head of the Knowledge Management Services Section of the UNECA Library.

This initial meeting provided a valuable opportunity to promote future collaborative projects in areas of common interest, particularly in the fields of culture and academic exchange.
