The Cuban Embassy sends a congratulatory message to South Sudan on its Independence Day

Addis Ababa, July 9, 2026.- On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of South Sudan, the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia, concurrently accredited to the Republic of South Sudan, extends its warmest congratulations to the people and Government of that sister nation.

On this particularly significant date, Cuba reaffirms its commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation that characterize the relations between our two countries, for the benefit of our people.

The Embassy reaffirms its commitment to further deepening the ties of brotherhood and bilateral cooperation.
