Cuba and Ethiopia strengthen spaces for dialogue and cooperation

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2026.- The ambassador of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández, held a fruitful exchange with ambassador Lemlem Fiseha Minale, Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the African Union.

During the meeting, topics of interest to both parties were discussed, and the importance of continuing to promote dialogue and cooperation in multilateral forums was emphasized. The value of the historical ties between Cuba and Ethiopia was also highlighted, as was the commitment to continue promoting initiatives that contribute to closer relations between the two nations.
