Havana, January 8, 2018. The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome Wirtu, arrived to Cuba on Official Visit. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Ana Teresita González Fraga welcomed the President at "José Martí" International Airport.
In attendance from the Cuban side, the Director for Subsaharan Africa in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gisela García Rivera and Vilma Thomas Ramírez, Cuban Ambassador to Ethiopia. From the Ethiopian side, H.E. Mr. Dewano Kedir was also present.
The Ethiopian President will start the official program on the 9 January. He will have official talks with his counterpart President Raúl Castro Ruz and will visit places of historic, social and scientifc interest.
