Excellency,
I have the honour to express my sincere congratulations on your recent election as the President of the Republic of Cuba.
I am confident that, under your leadership, the growing relations between Cuba and the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) will be further strengthened.
In this context, I look forward to developing the opportunities for technical cooperation identified during my recent visit to Cuba, upon the invitation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (CITMA), and hope to soon welcome Cuba to the family of CTBTO Member States.
