Taking as a premise the Martian thought that "Helping the one who needs it is not only part of duty, but of happiness", the Cuban community residing in Austria, developed this Sunday, February 10, a cultural activity in the downtown "Danzón" Discotheque, in Vienna, with the aim of collecting funds as a sincere contribution to the reestablishment of the damages caused by the recent passage of the tornado through Havana.
Convened by Alexis Arzuaga, Artistic Director of the Danzón and the director of the place, with the support of the diplomatic mission of Cuba accredited in this country EmbaCuba Austria, participated, in a disinterested way, many Cuban artists living in this country, such as the dancers Luis Estevez and his dance group "Ritmo Tropical", Dunia Concepcion Sierra and Liber Vegas, the entertainer and performer Yhasmany Martin, and the musicians Victor Fuentes, Frank Morán and Halaen Cisnero, President of the association of Cubans living abroad "Cuba Va", who delighted with his improvisations.
It was a plethoric day of patriotic and Cuban love, where the power of art and culture was once again demonstrated to unite wills according to a common goal.
On February 3, the Cuban community living in Austria had also developed a similar activity in the "Ritmo Tropical" dance hall, called by the "Cuba Va", with the same purpose of collecting funds for this noble cause.
